The short version: the games are free, you can play them as much as you like, but they belong to us. There is nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for, and no promise that a free game will never have a bug in it.
Who you are agreeing with
This website and the games on it are operated by Krynetic Games, the trading name of James Simmill, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@kryneticgames.com.
By using this website or playing one of our games you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or the games.
What you may do
You may play our games for your own personal enjoyment, on as many of your own devices as you like, for free. You may link to any page on this site. You may write about, stream, record and monetise video of our games — Let's Plays, reviews, clips and similar are all welcome and need no separate permission.
What you may not do
- Copy, re-host, repackage or redistribute a game, in whole or in part — including embedding it in another website or wrapping it in an app
- Sell a game, or charge for access to it
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify a game, except where the law expressly says you may despite this term
- Remove or alter any copyright, branding or attribution
- Use the Krynetic Games name, the studio mark or any game's name, artwork or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you
- Interfere with the site or attempt to disrupt it for other people
Who owns what
Everything in our games and on this website — code, artwork, sound, music, names, wordmarks and design — is owned by Krynetic Games and protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Playing a game gives you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to play it. It does not transfer any ownership to you.
The fonts used here are third-party works used under their own open licences, which are included in the site and app files and remain the property of their authors.
The games are provided as they are
Our games are free and are provided “as is”. We put real care into testing them, but we do not promise that a game will be free of bugs, will run on every device, will always be available, or that any particular feature will keep working. We may change, update or withdraw a game or this website at any time.
Game progress is stored only on your own device. We have no copy of it and cannot restore it. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, changing device or using the in-game reset will erase it permanently.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, and because the games are supplied free of charge, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of progress, loss of profit, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using this website or our games.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you, and nothing here affects them.
Links to other places
This site links to app stores and other third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them; their own terms and privacy policies apply once you follow the link.
Privacy
We collect nothing about you. The detail is in our privacy notes and, for the game specifically, the Flip Drift privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site or the games after a change means you accept the updated version.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
